Daniela Sales Alviano Moreno

She holds a degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), a Master’s degree in Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999), and a Ph.D. in Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). She is currently an Associate Professor Level 2 at the Institute of Microbiology / UFRJ, Scientist of Our State – CNE by FAPERJ (since 2018), and a Level 1D researcher by CNPq. She has experience in the areas of Microbiology and Biochemistry, with an emphasis on the Biochemistry of Microorganisms, mainly working on the following topics: Mycology, Bacteriology, Microorganism Surface Structures, Antimicrobial Activity, and Evaluation of Bioactive Compounds in Plant / Microorganism Extracts.
