She has experience in the areas of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Immunology. During her Master’s and PhD (IBCCF/UFRJ), she focused her studies on signal transduction pathways and gene expression regulation in infectious processes. She held a PNPD Postdoctoral Fellowship from UFRJ (2010), a Pew Postdoctoral Fellowship at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LJI, CA, USA), and a Young Talents Attraction Fellowship (BJT) from the Science Without Borders Project at UFRJ. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Immunology at IMPG (UFRJ), where she dedicates her research to studying cellular signaling, transcriptional and epigenetic control in the modulation of T lymphocytes and macrophage function during infections and cancer. She is a CNPq Productivity Fellow (Level 2), a Young Scientist of Our State from FAPERJ, and an Affiliate Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
